Carolina Panthers (@ MWSTheNatural) 12-2-0

Most Recent Results: Defeated JFF Saints 56-7 (Week Fourteen); Defeated JFF Buccaneers 28-7 (Week Fifteen)

Next Up: vs. JFF Browns (Week Sixteen); AT JFF Falcons (Week Seventeen)

Comment: The Natural found himself in the league’s GroupMe Chat Room going up against The Parsons Brothers – Damian and Kedren – after criticizing the latter for executing a “flip-play-so-my-team-can-get-to-the-line-of-scrimmage-faster” technique. The Natural went as far as to refer to Kedren a.k.a. “Top Dawg” as a “bum” (i.e., a common Madden NFL Community term for an opponent who has less-than-average gameplay skills). Da Commish stepped in briefly and reminded The Natural that the league has no rule against the technique that Top Dawg used, and he also had to remind Damian P. that there is no rule against The Natural using the term “bum” in the GroupMe Chat. Wouldn’t it be something if Carolina was to play both Arizona AND Tampa Bay in the NFC Conference playoffs?!?

San Francisco 49ers (@ poefield109) 12-2-0

Most Recent Results: Defeated JFF Raiders 35-13 (Week Fourteen); Defeated JFF Seahawks 34-27 (Week Fifteen)

Next Up: vs. JFF Chargers (Week Sixteen); vs. JFF Cardinals (Week Seventeen)

Comment: Cadillac and his JFF San Francisco 49ers took care of business once again in their second match-up with their NFC West Division rival, the JFF Seattle Seahawks. Here is where San Francisco stands with two games remaining: If the JFF 49ers go 2-0 against the JFF Chargers and JFF Cardinals, then they will be crowned the NFC West Division Champions and they would earn the #1 Seed in the NFC Conference playoffs; If they go 1-1, and lose to either the JFF Chargers or the JFF Cardinals, they would need Seattle to beat Arizona to have a chance at the NFC West title; If San Francisco goes 0-2 in the last week of the season, the best they can hope for is the #5 Seed or #6 Seed in the NFC Conference playoffs. We shall see!

3

Cleveland Browns (@ VitalMindz5) 14-0-0

Most Recent Results: Defeated JFF Colts 31-21 (Week Fourteen); Defeated JFF Bengals 55-28 (Week Fifteen)

Next Up: AT JFF Panthers (Week Sixteen); AT JFF Ravens (Week Seventeen)

Comment: First, the “bad” news: Indianapolis accumulated more rushing yards than Cleveland (184 rushing yards for the JFF Colts; 174 rushing yards for the JFF Browns); Indianapolis had more passing yards than Cleveland (152 passing yards for the JFF Colts; 137 passing yards for the JFF Browns); Indianapolis had more sacks (4 sacks for the JFF Colts; 3 sacks for the JFF Browns); and finally, Indianapolis time of possession was higher (18:10 for Indianapolis and 13:50 for Cleveland). Now, the “good” news: None of those stats mattered in the least as Cleveland won their Week Fourteen contest fairly easily over Indianapolis to wrap up the #1 Seed in the AFC Conference playoffs. The JFF Browns caused four fumbles and they were able to recover two of the four fumbles. For their next two opponents, a victory means much more to their opponents than it does for Cleveland. Kory said he might rest his starters for both games.

4

6

Indianapolis Colts (@ ModeOne4Ever) 11-3-0

Most Recent Results: Lost to the JFF Browns 31-21 (Week Fourteen); Defeated JFF Texans 20-14 (Week Fifteen)

Next Up: AT JFF Cowboys (Week Sixteen); AT JFF Titans (Week Sixteen)

Comment: Air’s JFF Colts won a lot of the “statistical battles” against Kory G.’s JFF Browns, but offensive and defensive stats do not win important ball games, particularly when your starting QB (Terrelle Pryor) fumbles the ball three times. JFF Colts HB Trent Richardson became the first running back to rush for over 100 yards on Cleveland’s vaulted rushing defense (128 rushing yards on 28 carries), but it was actually JFF Browns HB Ben Tate who broke the game wide open with a 78-yard scamper down the sideline with 5:56 remaining in the 3rd Quarter to put the almost-close-and-competitive-game-but-not-quite out of reach. The JFF Colts “consolation prize” will be that if Indianapolis knocks off Dallas this week, they will clinch the #2 Seed in the AFC Conference playoffs.

5

5

Tampa Bay Buccaneers (@ UNCLE___SAM) 10-4-0

Most Recent Results: Defeated JFF Lions 25-23 (Week Fourteen); Lost to the JFF Panthers 28-7 (Week Fifteen)

Next Up: vs. JFF Packers (Week Sixteen); vs. JFF Saints (Week Seventeen)

Comment: When The Natural and Top Dawg bumped heads in Week One, there was not much trash talk or fanfare before or after the game (which Carolina won 13-10). Well, how time goes by and changes things. After Top Dawg’s JFF Buccaneers lost to the JFF Panthers in Week Fifteen, Top Dawg was in no mood to read The Natural’s comments in the league’s GroupMe Chat. Top Dawg emphatically told The Natural to “stop crying” and to let his 28-7 victory do all the talking instead. If these two opponents have a “Round 3” in the NFC Conference playoffs, it is going to be full of tension. First things first though: Tampa Bay absolutely needs to defeat Green Bay in order to earn at least the #6 Seed in the NFC Conference playoffs.

6

7

Seattle Seahawks (@ SamoanK1NG) 9-5-0

Most Recent Results: Lost to the JFF Eagles 31-28 OT (Week Fourteen); Lost to the JFF 49ers 34-27 (Week Fifteen)

Next Up: AT JFF Cardinals (Week Sixteen); vs. JFF Rams (Week Seventeen)

Comment: The “good” news: Malo’s JFF Seattle Seahawks scored 21 points against the JFF 49ers in the 3rd Quarter alone. The “bad” news: Seattle still came up one touchdown short when it was all said and done. Seattle has to feel sick about now. They are going to earn an Auto Pilot Forfeit loss in Week Seventeen, and three of their five current losses were because of miscommunications with their opponent (i.e., they failed to schedule the game in a timely manner). In other words, Seattle is going to end up either 10-6-0 or 9-7-0 when they really should finish either 13-3-0 or 12-4-0; Bottom line, if the JFF Seahawks miss the playoffs, they would have no one to blame but themselves.

7

8

Arizona Cardinals (@ INGLEWOODD) 12-2-0

Most Recent Results: Defeated JFF Chiefs 23-6 (Week Fifteen); Defeated JFF Rams 28-17 (Week Sixteen)

Next Up: vs. JFF Seahawks (Week Sixteen); AT JFF 49ers (Week Seventeen)

Comment: Damian P.’s JFF Arizona Cardinals might just have the most challenging Week Sixteen-Week Seventeen schedule of any team in the league, with the possible exception of San Francisco. First, they will match up with a team who beat them in Week Twelve 31-10. Next, they go up against their other NFC West Division rival who they defeated 28-22 in Week Three. Similar to Cadillac’s JFF 49ers, Arizona could end up as high as the #1 Seed in the NFC Conference playoffs and the NFC West Division Champions, or they could end up as low as the #5 Seed or #6 Seed in the playoffs. Going into the last week of the Regular Season, the JFF Arizona Cardinals now have reclaimed the #1 overall defense in the league as well as the #1 pass defense in the league.

8

4

Baltimore Ravens (@ JohnnyWadd) 10-4-0

Most Recent Results: Lost to the JFF Dolphins 20-13 (Week Fourteen); Defeated JFF Jaguars 45-3 (Week Fifteen)

Next Up: AT JFF Texans (Week Sixteen); vs. JFF Browns (Week Seventeen)

Comment: The upcoming week is crucial for Musashi’s JFF Ravens. If Baltimore finishes the week 0-2, they are out of contention for an AFC Conference playoffs spot. If they finish 1-1, they still have a chance at earning the #6 Seed. If Baltimore finishes 2-0, they would eliminate Houston and more-than-likely New England from contention for an AFC Conference playoffs spot. We shall see!

9

9

Houston Texans (@ deuce1413) 8-6-0

Most Recent Results: Defeated JFF Jaguars 51-17 (Week Fourteen); Lost to the JFF Colts 20-14 (Week Fifteen)

Next Up: vs. JFF Ravens (Week Sixteen); vs. JFF Jaguars (Week Seventeen)

Comment: There is simply no other way to put it: Deuce’s JFF Texans absolutely, positively MUST WIN their next game against Musashi’s JFF Ravens if they want a chance at earning an AFC Conference playoffs berth. Then, even if Houston defeats Baltimore, they then need Buffalo to defeat New England and Cleveland to defeat Baltimore in Week Seventeen. In other words, Houston is one of those teams that needs “outside help” in order to earn a playoff berth. Deuce better start making some phone calls to Buffalo and Cleveland that go something like, “Hey … what’s up my friends!! Next time you are in my town … drinks are all on me!! But I do need a favor …”

10

10

Cincinnati Bengals (@ rbbpaperwalls) 8-6-0

Most Recent Results: Defeated JFF Steelers 28-7 (Week Fourteen); Lost to the JFF Browns 55-28 (Week Fifteen)

Next Up: vs. JFF Broncos (Week Sixteen); AT JFF Steelers (Week Seventeen)

Comment: Technically, Cincinnati has already been eliminated from the possibility of earning an AFC Conference playoffs berth. If every team in the league was controlled by a human user, they would still have a mathematical chance, but given that a number of teams in the league are CPU-controlled, Rob’s JFF Cincinnati Bengals have no chance at realistically claiming the #6 Seed in the AFC. If Rob participates in future JFF Online League seasons, I am sure he will do well.

11

11

San Diego Chargers (@ jayqeezy) 10-4-0

Most Recent Results: Defeated JFF Patriots 38-10 (Week Fourteen); Defeated JFF Broncos 33-10 (Week Fifteen)

Next Up: AT JFF 49ers (Week Sixteen); AT JFF Chiefs (Week Seventeen)

Comment: Jon Jon’s JFF San Diego Chargers are all but guaranteed the AFC West Division title and no lower than the #4 Seed in the AFC Conference playoffs, but if San Diego is able to pull off an upset against Cadillac’s JFF San Francisco 49ers, they could actually move up to the #3 Seed in the AFC Conference playoffs. Going into the last week of the Regular Season, San Diego can now boast that they have the #1 rushing defense in the league. They will need such a defense if they happen to match-up against Cleveland and/or Indianapolis and their respective powerful rushing offenses in the AFC Conference playoffs.

12

13

New England Patriots (@ SLIMDAWG1979) 9-5-0

Most Recent Results: Lost to the JFF Chargers 38-10 (Week Fourteen); Defeated JFF Dolphins 17-14 (Week Fifteen)

Next Up: AT JFF N.Y. Jets (Week Sixteen); vs. JFF Bills (Week Seventeen)

Comment: The AFC East, similar to the NFC West, is such an interesting division to pay attention as the Regular Season is winding down. Get this: The JFF Dolphins swept the JFF Bills, but the JFF Patriots swept the JFF Dolphins. Remember that Week Three loss to the JFF Raiders? That loss to a CPU-controlled team, one of the few that happened this season, has now come back to haunt Andrew’s New England team. New England should be 10-4-0 right now, and competing with both Buffalo and Miami for the AFC East Division title. Now, because of that loss to Oakland, the best they can hope for is either the #5 Seed or #6 Seed in the AFC Conference playoffs. If New England defeats Buffalo in Week Seventeen, and Baltimore loses to both Houston and Cleveland, then New England would become the #5 Seed and Buffalo would become the #6 Seed. That would mean that three teams from the AFC East would earn a playoff spot.

13

15

Dallas Cowboys (@ TD33DORSETT) 10-4-0

Most Recent Results: Defeated JFF Bears 35-14 (Week Fourteen); Defeated JFF Eagles 19-14 (Week Fifteen)

Next Up: vs. JFF Colts (Week Sixteen); AT JFF Redskins (Week Seventeen)

Comment: Cliff displayed the heart of a champion by getting revenge on his Week Thirteen loss to the JFF Eagles. Now, his JFF Dallas Cowboys need either a Week Sixteen victory over the JFF Indianapolis Colts and/or a Week Seventeen loss by the JFF Eagles to the JFF N.Y. Giants in order to lay claim to the NFC East Division crown. If Dallas loses to Indianapolis, and Philadelphia defeats New York, then the JFF Philadelphia Eagles will claim the NFC East Division title and either the #3 Seed or #4 Seed in the NFC Conference playoffs.

14

14

Miami Dolphins (@ JoshHimself) 11-3-0

Most Recent Results: Defeated JFF Ravens 20-13 (Week Fourteen); Lost to the JFF Patriots 17-14 (Week Fifteen)

Next Up: vs. JFF Vikings (Week Sixteen); vs. JFF N.Y. Jets (Week Seventeen)

Comment: Poor Josh. When the JFF Miami Dolphins knocked off the JFF Buffalo Bills for the second time in Week Eleven, and then he pulled off a minor ‘upset’ victory over the JFF Baltimore Ravens in Week Fourteen, it looked as though he almost had the AFC East Division titled wrapped up. Well, not so fast. Now, Josh has to experience an Auto Pilot Forfeit loss in Week Sixteen that will give him four losses, and he could end up as the #5 Seed instead of the #2 Seed or #3 Seed. Josh will be keeping a close eye on the Week Seventeen contest between Buffalo and New England.

15

12

Philadelphia Eagles (@ Queesdoe812) 9-5-0

Most Recent Results: Defeated JFF Seahawks 31-28 OT (Week Fourteen); Lost to the JFF Cowboys 19-14 (Week Fifteen)

Next Up: AT JFF Redskins (Week Sixteen); AT JFF N.Y. Giants (Week Seventeen)

Comment: Because of Que’s loss to Cliff’s JFF Dallas Cowboys, his JFF Philadelphia Eagles now need “outside help” from another team. Namely, the JFF Indianapolis Colts. If Indianapolis defeats Dallas, and Que’s JFF Eagles are able to defeat Dee Pee’s JFF N.Y. Giants a second time, then they would be crowned the NFC East Division Champions. On the other hand, if Dallas defeats Indianapolis and/or Philadelphia loses to New York, then Que will be watching the NFC Conference playoffs on Twitch TV!

16

16

Green Bay Packers (@ BarNone12000) 10-4-0

Most Recent Results: Defeated JFF Falcons 37-27 (Week Fourteen); Defeated JFF Bills 31-28 (Week Fifteen)

Next Up: AT JFF Buccaneers (Week Sixteen); vs. JFF Lions (Week Seventeen)

Comment: Tim Dog’s JFF Green Bay Packers only need to win one of their two remaining games in order to clinch the NFC North Division title. Looks like Green Bay will end up as either the #3 Seed or the #4 Seed in the NFC Conference playoffs. Even though Ato a.k.a. “Da Kang” and his JFF Detroit Lions have been eliminated from playoffs contention, he has expressed that he wants “revenge” on Green Bay for the beating his JFF Lions took in Week Three.
