Cincinnati Bengals (@ Ball_Is_Life044) 13-1-0

Most Recent Results: Defeated JFF Steelers 24-21 OT (Week Fourteen); Defeated JFF Browns 49-7 (Week Fifteen)

Next Up: vs. JFF Broncos (Week Sixteen); AT JFF Steelers (Week Seventeen)

Comment: Talk about a “close call!!”  Shane’s JFF Bengals matched up against their AFC North Division rival, Dman’s JFF Steelers, and the two engaged in a defensive battle for the ages.  The game went into overtime, and JFF Bengals Kicker Mike Nugent booted a 43-yard field goal to win it for Cincinnati in the extra period.  Shane has no rest though, because he engages in not one, but TWO human user vs. human user match-ups during the last week of the Regular Season.  First up:  Shane’s closest friend in the league, and one of his best friends outside of the Madden Community, Kory G and his JFF Denver Broncos; Then, a ‘rematch’ with Dman’s JFF Steelers in Week Seventeen.  Big week!!  We’ll see what happens.

Kansas City Chiefs (@ ShadySlick) 13-1-0

Most Recent Results: Defeated JFF Cardinals 38-13 (Week Fourteen); Defeated JFF Raiders 27-3 (Week Fifteen)

Next Up: AT JFF Steelers (Week Sixteen); vs. JFF Chargers (Week Seventeen)

Comment: Shady chose the right portion of the season to exert his Madden dominance in The JFF.  It started in Week Ten when his JFF Chiefs defeated Air’s JFF Bills by 21 points (31-10); Then, these same JFF Chiefs defeated Cadillac’s JFF Seahawks by 31 points (52-21); Next, Kansas City outclassed Kory G’s JFF Broncos by 52 points (59-7); and most recently, Shady’s powerful squad got the best of Damian’s JFF Cardinals by 25 points (38-13).  Teams are having an extremely hard time scoring against the Kansas City defense (and particularly, the JFF Chiefs’ secondary), and they are having an equally tough time preventing the Kansas City offense from scoring.  Will Shady play his bench players against Pittsburgh to avoid potential injuries?  We shall see!

Tampa Bay Buccaneers (@ UNCLE___SAM) 13-1-0

Most Recent Results: Defeated JFF Lions 56-17 (Week Fourteen); Defeated JFF Panthers 63-10 (Week Fifteen)

Next Up: vs. JFF Packers (Week Sixteen); vs. JFF Saints (Week Seventeen)

Comment: The battle for the #1 Seed in the NFC Conference playoffs comes down to a Week Sixteen match-up between Top Dawgg’s JFF Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Tim Dog’s JFF Green Bay Packers.  Start the barking between these two competitive hounds!  Given that these two teams COULD see each other in the playoffs, and given that one or more players from each team COULD possibly get injured in a freak accident on the field, will these two teams bring their A+ games?  Their A- games?  Their B+ games?  Their C+ games?  We shall see!

Seattle Seahawks (@ poefield109) 12-2-0

Most Recent Results: Defeated JFF Eagles 58-14 (Week Fourteen); Defeated JFF 49ers 52-14 (Week Fifteen)

Next Up: AT JFF Cardinals (Week Sixteen); vs. JFF Rams (Week Seventeen)

Comment: Being real, the “big rematch” between Cadillac’s JFF Seahawks and Damian’s JFF Cardinals has lost a wee bit of its “luster” in the past week or two.  That is not to say though this rivalry will ever cease to be entertaining and provocative, because if nothing else, just the personalities involved in this charming NFC West rivalry will more-than-likely always result in an interesting and fairly competitive match-up between these two.  Right now, Cadillac is in the driver’s seat (pun intended), and Damian is playing catch-up.  We’ll see what happens in Week Sixteen.

Green Bay Packers (@ BarNone12000) 13-1-0

Most Recent Results: Defeated JFF Falcons 38-17 (Week Fourteen); Lost to the JFF Bills 30-26 (Week Fifteen)

Next Up: AT JFF Buccaneers (Week Sixteen); vs. JFF Lions (Week Seventeen)

Comment: Technically, Tim Dog’s JFF Packers should have had at least one loss … if not two or three … weeks ago.  Green Bay earned a “CFM glitch victory” over Seattle in Week One, and a few other times, Tim Dog experienced the good fortune of having his Green Bay team earn a victory in a human vs. CPU match-up that Tim Dog forgot all about due to his summer travels.  All that to say that the Auto Pilot loss to Air’s JFF Bills did not really set his team back – because they are still the #1 Seed in the NFC – but it’s safe to say that Tim Dog will not be receiving any Labor Day BBQ invites from the likes of Andrew C of the JFF New England Patriots or Champ of the JFF Indianapolis Colts.  (New England really, really needed Tim Dog’s JFF Packers to knock off Air’s JFF Bills; Indianapolis dropped from the #3 Seed to the #4 Seed in the AFC)

Chicago Bears (@ Queesdoe812) 10-4-0

Most Recent Results: Defeated JFF Cowboys 38-27 (Week Fourteen); Defeated JFF Saints 24-3 (Week Fifteen)

Next Up: vs. JFF Lions (Week Sixteen); AT JFF Vikings (Week Seventeen)

Comment: “Revenge is a dish best served COLD.”  And so the saying goes.  Cliff’s JFF Dallas Cowboys had knocked out Que’s JFF Eagles both during the Fall 2014 season AND the Spring 2015 season, so Que has had to patiently wait to execute a measure of revenge.  It was worth the wait.  Que’s JFF Bears (the team Que played with during his very first season in The JFF during the Fall 2013 season) started the game with a bang, and never let up.  Que was so focused on revenge that he was literally still trying to score against Cliff’s JFF Cowboys up until the last second of the game.   Chicago will be entering the NFC Conference playoffs with a good dose of momentum.  Remember:  During the Fall 2013 season, it was Que’s JFF Bears that pulled off the biggest upset of the playoffs (they knocked off the more highly favored JFF New York Giants led by former league member Mike Ruiz).

Dallas Cowboys (@ TD33DORSETT) 11-3-0

Most Recent Results: Lost to the JFF Bears 38-27 (Week Fourteen); Defeated JFF Eagles 56-10 (Week Fifteen)

Next Up: vs. JFF Colts (Week Sixteen); AT JFF Redskins (Week Seventeen)

Comment: Cliff’s JFF Cowboys are still winning, but admittedly, they look a wee bit “vulnerable” right now.  The Dallas defense – and particularly the run defense – had no answer for JFF Bears HB Matt Forte and the Chicago run game (Forte racked up 288 rushing yards and four rushing touchdowns on 23 carries).  Dallas needs to win their last two games in decisive fashion in order to enter into the NFC Conference playoffs with a boat load of momentum.

Arizona Cardinals (@ INGLEWOODD) 11-3-0

Most Recent Results: Lost to the JFF Chiefs 38-13 (Week Fourteen); Defeated JFF Rams 77-21 (Week Fifteen)

Next Up: vs. JFF Seahawks (Week Sixteen); AT JFF 49ers (Week Seventeen)

Comment: Damian’s JFF Cardinals need to “rejuvenate their mojo” after their decisive loss to Shady’s JFF Kansas City Chiefs.  If Damian has any hopes of claiming the NFC West Division title, he not only needs to defeat Cadillac’s JFF Seahawks … but he needs to win by a minimum of 31 points or more.   Are the JFF Cardinals up for the challenge?  If Arizona loses, looks like Damian will be going up against Cliff’s JFF Cowboys AGAIN in the JFF playoffs.  Now won’t that be most interesting.   We’ll see what happens.

New England Patriots (@ SLIMDAWG1979) 9-5-0

Most Recent Results: Defeated JFF Chargers 35-21 (Week Fourteen); Defeated JFF Dolphins 44-21 (Week Fifteen)

Next Up: AT JFF N.Y. Jets (Week Sixteen); vs. JFF Bills (Week Seventeen)

Comment: Poor Andrew.  Andrew is now in a position where he does not 100% control his own playoff destiny.  Even if his JFF Patriots defeat Air’s JFF Bills for the second time this season, that victory would still fail to guarantee him a playoff berth unless both Kansas City and Cincinnati knock off Dman’s JFF Pittsburgh Steelers in Week Sixteen and Week Seventeen.  New England’s chances of possibly claiming the AFC East Division title went out the window when Air’s JFF Bills were able to luck up and earn a 30-26 Auto Pilot victory over Tim Dog’s JFF Green Bay Packers.  Oh well.  We’ll see what happens in Week Sixteen with Kansas City and Pittsburgh and then in Week Seventeen.

Buffalo Bills (@ ModeOne4Ever) 11-3-0

Most Recent Results: Defeated JFF Broncos 30-27 OT (Week Fourteen); Defeated JFF Packers 30-26 (Week Fifteen)

Next Up: AT JFF Raiders (Week Sixteen); AT JFF Patriots (Week Seventeen)

Comment: Well, well, well.  One week ago, there was actually a possibility that Air’s JFF Buffalo Bills could be knocked out of JFF playoffs contention ENTIRELY.   Then, Air’s #3 ranked defense (and #1 ranked pass defense) pulled off a mildly surprising victory over Kory G’s more favored JFF Broncos, and then Tim Dog – because of his summer travel schedule – allowed his JFF Green Bay Packers to be placed on Auto Pilot for Week Fifteen.  So now, Air’s JFF Bills are officially the AFC East Division Champions.  All that said, the Week Seventeen ‘rematch’ between Buffalo and New England is still a game of huge importance to both teams.  We’ll see what happens.

Denver Broncos (@ VitalMindz5) 10-4-0

Most Recent Results: Lost to the JFF Bills 30-27 OT (Week Fourteen); Defeated JFF Chargers 55-32 (Week Fifteen)

Next Up: AT JFF Bengals (Week Sixteen); vs. JFF Raiders (Week Seventeen)

Comment: Talk about “having your chances.”  Kory G’s JFF Denver Broncos had not only one chance to win their game against Air’s JFF Buffalo Bills, but they had at least THREE chances.   Chance #1 came with about :07 seconds remaining in regulation.  JFF Broncos’ Kicker Connor Barth missed a 49-yard field goal in the rain.  Chance #2 came with about 5:54 remaining in the Overtime period.  Denver progressed all the way down to Buffalo’s 2-yard line, but then Denver HB C.J. Anderson fumbled the ball.  Fortunately for them, the fumble call was overturned.  Chance #3 came with just over five minutes remaining.  Denver had a 3rd & 2 from Buffalo’s 3-yard line, but Anderson got tackled for a one-yard loss to leave the JFF Broncos with 4th & 4 at the Buffalo 5-yard line.  Kory G elected to settle for a field goal, and Denver went up 27-24 in Overtime, but the JFF Bills methodically moved down field and Buffalo HB Jamaal Charles scored a 12-yard rushing touchdown with about :30 remaining.  Now, if Denver knocks off Cincinnati and Pittsburgh loses to Kansas City, Denver would move up from the #6 Seed to the #5 Seed.  We’ll see what happens.

Pittsburgh Steelers (@ dman_of_God) 11-3-0

Most Recent Results: Lost to the JFF Bengals 24-21 OT (Week Fourteen); Defeated JFF Falcons 42-24 (Week Fifteen)

Next Up: vs. JFF Chiefs (Week Sixteen); vs. JFF Bengals (Week Seventeen)

Comment: So close . . . but yet, so far away.  Dman’s JFF Steelers might have played their BEST GAME in a loss.  Sounds somewhat contradictory, but for Dman’s JFF Steelers to take the defending JFF Super Bowl Champion into an Overtime period is HUGE.   Most league members thought this game would be decided in favor of Cincinnati by the middle of the 2nd Quarter.  This is the second time this season that Dman’s Pittsburgh squad came REAL CLOSE to knocking off a highly ranked team (Pittsburgh lost to Tampa Bay 21-20 in Week Four).   This week coming up is arguably the most important week of Dman’s entire JFF tenure.   Two “must win” games coming up.

Indianapolis Colts (@ champ31p) 11-3-0

Most Recent Results: Defeated JFF Browns 24-17 (Week Fourteen); Lost to the JFF Texans 38-21 (Week Fifteen)

Next Up: AT JFF Cowboys (Week Sixteen); AT JFF Titans (Week Seventeen)

Comment: Indianapolis QB Andrew Luck is out with an injury for the remainder of the JFF Regular Season.  The “good news” is, the JFF Colts have already clinched the AFC South Division title and no lower than the #4 Seed in the AFC Conference playoffs.  The “bad news” is, their chances of moving up from the #4 Seed to the #3 Seed are somewhere between “slim” and “none” without Luck at the helm.

Houston Texans (@ deuce1413) 9-5-0

Most Recent Results: Defeated JFF Jaguars 69-24 (Week Fourteen); Defeated JFF Colts 38-21 (Week Fifteen)

Next Up: vs. JFF Ravens (Week Sixteen); vs. JFF Jaguars (Week Seventeen)

Comment: Too little too late??  If only Deuce could have swept the season series with Champ’s JFF Indianapolis Colts.   Houston did earn a measure of revenge for a 41-31 loss in Week Six, but now, more-than-likely, the JFF Texans will be completely eliminated from JFF playoffs contention when all of the dust settles from all of the remaining games being completed.   Deuce is always one to maintain good spirits, and if Da Commish definitely decides to sponsor a Fall 2015 season on Madden 16, we’re pretty sure that Deuce will return to be competitive once again.

Washington Redskins (@ thawood505) 9-5-0

Most Recent Results: Defeated JFF Rams 42-34 (Week Fourteen); Defeated JFF N.Y. Giants 28-3 (Week Fifteen)

Next Up: vs. JFF Eagles (Week Sixteen); vs. JFF Cowboys (Week Seventeen)

Comment: Well, the inevitable is coming into focus.  Haywood’s JFF Washington Redskins gave this season their all, but it just wasn’t enough.  Even if Dallas loses to Indianapolis in Week Sixteen, more-than-likely, Da Commish would force Haywood to take a voluntary Auto Pilot loss to make up for the “CFM glitch victory” earned over the JFF Cowboys in Week Eight.   Haywood fought the good fight though.

San Francisco 49ers (@ Pasadena Soldier**) 5-9-0

Most Recent Results: Defeated JFF Raiders 25-6 (Week Fifteen); Lost to the JFF Seahawks 52-14 (Week Sixteen)

Next Up: vs. JFF Chargers (Week Sixteen); vs. JFF Cardinals (Week Seventeen)

** Pasadena Soldier abruptly quit the league after his Week Seven loss to the JFF Denver Broncos

Comment: Just think how competitive the NFC West Division would have been if Soldier would have remained in the league.  But instead, he QUIT.  AGAIN.  No one in The JFF (with the possible exception of Que, who has participated in Soldier’s online leagues multiple times) has heard from Soldier.  Not as much as a formal “goodbye.”  Oh well.
