Buffalo Bills (@ ShadySlick) 16-0-0

Most Recent Results: Defeated JFF Dolphins 20-15 (Week Sixteen); Defeated JFF Chiefs 28-21 (Week Seventeen)

Next Up: vs. Lowest Seed Remaining in the Divisional Round of the AFC Conference playoffs

Comment: Can Trevor handle the pressure of being the #1 target in the upcoming playoffs that begin on Thursday?  We shall see!  Starting with the Spring 2003 season, and not including the Spring 2004 season when the JFF Super Bowl was unfortunately canceled, only twice has the #1 team in the Final Edition of the Power Rankings failed to win the Super Bowl:  1) Fall 2003 season (Top Dawgg’s JFF Bucs were the #1 team in the Final Power Rankings, but former league member Justin “Wacavelli” Acton won the Super Bowl) and 2) Fall 2013 season (Once again, Top Dawgg’s JFF Bucs were the #1 team in the Final Power Rankings, but Cliff’s JFF Ravens ended up winning the Super Bowl).  The AFC Conference playoffs should be great to watch.

4

Carolina Panthers (@ MWSTheNatural) 13-3-0

Most Recent Results: Defeated JFF Titans 33-14 (Week Sixteen); Defeated JFF Texans 77-21 (Week Seventeen)

Next Up: vs. Highest Seed Remaining in the Divisional Round of the NFC Conference playoffs

Comment: Initially, The Natural said that he was going to “rest his starters” in his Week Sixteen contest against his protégé’s JFF Titans, but then his heir apparent started getting cocky and running off his mouth in an attempt to get under the Defending Champ’s skin.  End result?  The Natural showed the young grasshopper who is still “Da Boss” in this league, and that he will never just “give away” his title as “Champion” … but rather that title is going to have to be EARNED and literally SNATCHED AWAY with brute force.  Carolina could end up matched up against Chicago, Dallas, or San Francisco in the Divisional Round.  This Story Editor Believes that he wants Dallas for purposes of “revenge,” but The Natural will be ready for any of the three.

3

3

Baltimore Ravens (@ viking2150) 13-3-0

Most Recent Results: Defeated JFF Broncos 56-20 (Week Sixteen); Defeated JFF Bengals 54-20 (Week Seventeen)

Next Up: AT JFF Chiefs in the Wild-Card Round of the AFC Conference playoffs

Comment: James a.k.a. “Viking” enters into the AFC Conference playoffs with a style of play very similar to Air’s JFF Colts last season:  A very formidable rushing offense combined with a  top-rated defense (The JFF Ravens finished the Regular Season with the #2 rushing offense in the league, the #2 best overall defense as well as the #2 best passing defense).  Now he has to play a team his team defeated 27-12 in Week Fifteen when he held Kruz’s JFF Chiefs to no touchdowns and four field goals.  We’ll see what happens in the “rematch” game.

4

7

Seattle Seahawks (@ Ball_Is_Life044) 13-3-0

Most Recent Results: Defeated JFF 49ers 45-28 (Week Sixteen); Defeated JFF Rams 31-28 (Week Seventeen)

Next Up: vs. Lowest Seed Remaining in the Divisional Round of the NFC Conference playoffs

Comment: Shane said to the league, “No Marshawn Lynch … no problem!!”  HB Robert Turbin stepped in nicely in place of Beast Mode, essentially becoming “Beast Mode, Part 2” as he ran 28 times for 162 rushing yards and 1 touchdown against Seattle’s NFC West rival, Cadillac’s JFF 49ers.  Now, the JFF Seahawks can sit back and prepare to play either the JFF Cowboys, the JFF 49ers (for the third time), or the JFF Buccaneers.  Can this team earn a spot in the NFC Conference Championship?  We shall see.

5

2

Tennessee Titans (@ TDBarrett) 13-3-0

Most Recent Results: Lost to the JFF Panthers 33-14 (Week Sixteen); Defeated JFF Raiders 27-12 (Week Seventeen)

Next Up: vs. Highest Seed Remaining in the Divisional Round of the AFC Conference playoffs

Comment: Well, Brett a.k.a. “TD” found out what happens when you call out The Natural publicly.  His JFF Titans held their own for about three-and-a-half quarters.  Then, beginning with about two or three minutes remaining in the game, it was all Carolina with Tennessee suffering their worst loss of the season.  Now, if these two teams were to meet in JFF Super Bowl XI, no one will be excited to see this match-up.  Everyone would favor The Natural in a romp.  The JFF Titans will wait to play either the JFF Browns, the JFF Chiefs, or the JFF Ravens.  Most want to see the JFF Browns AT the JFF Titans.  Two of the league’s heavy-duty trash-talkers going at it. If that match-up does indeed take place, we'll see what happens.

6

5

San Francisco 49ers (@ poefield109) 12-4-0

Most Recent Results: Lost to the JFF Seahawks 45-28 (Week Sixteen); Defeated JFF River Hogs 27-3 (Week Seventeen)

Next Up: AT JFF Cowboys in the Wild-Card Round of the NFC Conference playoffs

Comment: Cadillac borrowed a quote from the rapper Mystikal when he told those worried about the quality of his internet connection in the playoffs, “Don’t worry about me, I’m good! If you see me and a Grizzly Bear fighting, help the Bear!” which made this Story Editor chuckle for days afterwards.  Cadillac lost his opportunity to win the NFC West Division for the second season in a row, but now he faces off with the Fall 2013 Champ (Cliff) for the second time in the last three seasons.  These two teams met in Week Nine, with San Francisco winning 21-10.

7

11

Cleveland Browns (@ VitalMindz5) 13-3-0

Most Recent Results: Defeated JFF Cardinals 31-0 (Week Sixteen); Defeated JFF Steelers 55-0 (Week Seventeen)

Next Up: vs. JFF Dolphins in the Wild-Card Round of the AFC Conference playoffs

Comment: Rumor has it that Kory G is experiencing some “real life personal matters” that may prevent him from participating in this season’s AFC Conference playoffs.  Da Commish, this Story Editor, and the league in general hopes that it is not anything “too serious,” and that Kory will be able to complete the season.  Would hate to see any league member miss out on an opportunity to earn a berth in the JFF Super Bowl.  But … after all, compared to “real life,” this league does center on simply an entertaining video game.  Good luck to this young competitor.

8

8

Chicago Bears (@ REDRZA) 13-3-0

Most Recent Results: Defeated JFF Packers 31-14 (Week Sixteen); Defeated JFF Lions 44-10 (Week Seventeen)

Next Up: vs. JFF Buccaneers in the Wild-Card Round of the NFC Conference playoffs

Comment: Da Bears are Da Sack leaders, but is that enough to get them to the NFC Conference Championship game?  The question regarding Rza’s next game is, “Can Chicago’s defense sack Tampa Bay QB Andrew Luck enough to prevent him from making big plays?”  The JFF Bears finished the season with the fifth best defense in the league this season, and the JFF Buccaneers will give them all they can possibly handle.  This should be a close, competitive contest.

9

9

Miami Dolphins (@ JoshHimself) 11-5-0

Most Recent Results: Lost to the JFF Bills 20-15 (Week Sixteen); Defeated JFF Eagles 33-21 (Week Seventeen)

Next Up: AT JFF Browns in the Wild-Card Round of the AFC Conference playoffs

Comment: After Miami’s Week Seventeen victory over Que’s JFF Philadelphia Eagles, Josh is now Cliff’s “new best friend” after helping the JFF Dallas Cowboys win the NFC East title for the second season in a row.  Josh brushed off Trevor’s comments that he “held back” in their Week Sixteen contest, and Josh believes that his JFF Dolphins can match up well with Trevor’s JFF Bills in the Divisional Round, assuming that Miami can get by Cleveland in the Wild-Card Round.

10

10

Tampa Bay Buccaneers (@ UNCLE___SAM) 12-4-0

Most Recent Results: Defeated JFF Colts 31-7 (Week Sixteen); Defeated JFF Saints 49-0 (Week Seventeen)

Next Up: AT JFF Bears in the Wild-Card Round of the NFC Conference playoffs

Comment: Top Dawgg is probably secretly hoping that Trevor’s JFF Bills fail to win the Super Bowl so that he won’t go down in JFF league history as the only #1 team in the Final Edition of the Power Rankings not to win a Super Bowl.  The match-up between Top Dawgg’s JFF Buccaneers and Rza’s JFF Bears is more than interesting.  Both play great defense and have a solid offense.  It should be close and competitive, but who knows?  It could end up being a blowout.

11

7

Arizona Cardinals (@ INGLEWOODD) 9-7-0

Most Recent Results: Lost to the JFF Browns 31-0 (Week Sixteen); Defeated JFF Packers 20-12 (Week Seventeen)

Next Up: Season has ended

Comment: Well, like Malo’s JFF Seahawks last season, Damian’s JFF Cardinals finish the season as the highest ranked team in the Final Edition of the Power Rankings not to earn a berth in the postseason.  Assuming Damian participates in the Summer 2015 season, he will look to rebound and lock up one of the six seeds available in the NFC Conference.  Or, you just might seem him move to a new team, such as the JFF Lions, JFF Rams, or even the JFF Saints.  We shall see.

12

12

Dallas Cowboys (@ TD33DORSETT) 10-6-0

Most Recent Results: Defeated JFF Saints 42-21 (Week Sixteen); Defeated JFF N.Y. Jets 42-21 (Week Seventeen)

Next Up: vs. JFF 49ers in the Wild-Card Round of the NFC Conference playoffs

Comment: Guess who gets invited to Cliff’s annual “Backyard Bar-B-Que” on Memorial Day, July 4th, or Labor Day?  You guessed it.  JFF Miami Dolphins Owner / Coach Josh!  Cliff definitely owes him one for taking a game seriously that he could have easily treated like it was the meaningless game that it was for his team.  Now, Cliff looks forward to a measure of “revenge” against Cadillac’s JFF 49ers, a team that got the best of him in Week Nine.  Who will win this time?  Let’s just say, if Cliff is the “Old Grizzly Bear,” the Bear will take as much advice and help as he can get.

13

13

Philadelphia Eagles (@ Queesdoe812) 10-6-0

Most Recent Results: Defeated JFF N.Y. Giants 55-14 (Week Sixteen); Lost to the JFF Dolphins 33-21 (Week Seventeen)

Next Up: Season has ended

Comment: Poor, poor Que.  For the second season in a row, Que’s JFF Philadelphia Eagles were SO CLOSE … but yet, SO FAR away from clinching the NFC East title.  One victory away matter of fact.  For a competitor in this league, there is nothing more frustrating than missing the playoffs, and even more so, there is definitely nothing more disheartening than missing the playoffs by ONE victory.  Well, as Que said himself, “It’s back to the lab.”  Good luck to Que in the Summer 2015 season, assuming he participates.

14

15

Kansas City Chiefs (@ K-R-U-Z-702) 9-7-0

Most Recent Results: Defeated JFF Bengals 24-11 (Week Sixteen); Lost to the JFF Bills 28-21 (Week Seventeen)

Next Up: vs. JFF Ravens in the Wild-Card Round of the AFC Conference playoffs

Comment: Never underestimate Mr. Kruz!! You could say of all of the twelve teams to earn a playoff berth this season, arguably the most “surprising” would be Kruz’s JFF Kansas City Chiefs.  The reality is, most league members should not be surprised because last season, Kruz’s JFF Buffalo Bills were not even RANKED in the Final Edition of the Top 16 Power Rankings, but yet, Buffalo earned the #5 Seed in the AFC Conference playoffs, and lost a thriller in overtime.  Can Kansas City pull of an unlikely “upset” against Baltimore?  We shall see!

15

14

New York Jets (@ IM50_tyson_) 9-7-0

Most Recent Results: Defeated JFF Texans 35-16 (Week Sixteen); Lost to the JFF Cowboys 42-21 (Week Seventeen)

Next Up: Season has ended

Comment: Tyson left the league's GroupMe Chat, and has not been heard back from since.  It is probably a safe assumption that Tyson will not be participating in the Summer 2015 season because of his strong disdain for competing on All-Pro.  We wish him well in his future endeavors.

16

16

Oakland Raiders (@ JohnnyWadd) 9-7-0

Most Recent Results: Defeated JFF River Hogs 45-14 (Week Sixteen); Lost to the JFF Titans 27-12 (Week Seventeen)

Next Up: Season has ended

Comment: Musashi and his JFF Raiders have got to be experiencing the same competitive pain and frustration that Que and his JFF Eagles are experiencing.  To add insult to injury, the JFF Oakland Raiders become the first team in league history to finish with the #1 best overall defense and the #1 best passing defense to miss out on playoffs action.  If Musashi decides to participate in the Summer 2015 season, we’re sure he will be fired up to earn a playoff spot after missing out on one this season by only ONE GAME.  Ouch!

17

17

Cincinnati Bengals (@ thawood505) 4-12-0

Most Recent Results: Lost to the JFF Chiefs 24-11 (Week Sixteen); Lost to the JFF Ravens 54-20 (Week Seventeen)

Next Up: Season has ended

Comment: Rumor has it, that Hawyood will not be welcomed in Seattle, Washington, which is where Afroman resides.  In the same way Josh helped out Cliff, Haywood on the other hand HURT Afroman’s bid for a playoff berth with his Week Fifteen upset.  It’s highly doubtful that Haywood will remain with the JFF Bengals in the Summer 2015 season, assuming he even participates.  With teams like the JFF N.Y. Jets open, the JFF Steelers open, the JFF Saints, and the JFF Lions open, he is almost certain to move to a new team.  We’ll see.

 18

18

Denver Broncos (@ Afrodamus) 9-7-0

Most Recent Results: Lost to the JFF Ravens 56-20 (Week Sixteen); Defeated JFF Chargers 38-31 (Week Seventeen)

Next Up: Season has ended

Comment: Once again, similar to Tim “Bigg Badd Bevv” Beverly during the Fall 2003 season, you just have to feel bad for Afroman’s JFF Denver Broncos.  They were the clear favorite to win the AFC West Division title up until the last six weeks of the season when Afro’s squad ended up losing four of their last six games.   Will Afro return for the Summer 2015 season?  This Story Editor has no idea.  We’ll see if Afro can shake this disappointing season off and come back rejuvenated for another go at it.

19

20

Washington Redskins (@ SwagPapa19) 8-8-0

Most Recent Results: Defeated JFF Falcons 34-13 (Week Sixteen); Defeated JFF N.Y. Giants 30-27 (Week Seventeen)

Next Up: Season has ended

Comment: Papa Swag gave this season his all, but he ended up falling short.  He was a relatively not-so-talkative member of the league’s GroupMe Chat, but if he decides to participate in the Summer 2015 season, he would be more than welcomed back.

20

21

Indianapolis Colts (@ ModeOne4Ever) 7-9-0

Most Recent Results: Lost to the JFF Buccaneers 31-7 (Week Sixteen); Defeated JFF Patriots 86-6 (Week Seventeen)

Next Up: Season has ended

Comment: Air’s JFF Colts set a new league record for most team rushing yards in a single game, but it did nothing to help his team other than securing the title of #1 team for rushing offense for the second season in a row and third overall in the last eleven seasons.  This is the third time in eleven seasons that Air has missed the playoffs (he finished 7-9-0 in both the Fall 2005 and Fall 2006 seasons when he coached the JFF Atlanta Falcons).  League members should always be concerned when an Air-coached team misses the playoffs, because when that happens, there is always a concern that there will be no future seasons.  Hint, hint, wink, wink.

21

19

New England Patriots (@ SLIMDAWG1979) 6-10-0

Most Recent Results: Defeated JFF Jaguars 30-3 (Week Sixteen); Lost to the JFF Colts 86-6 (Week Seventeen)

Next Up: Season has ended

Comment: Andrew was dealing with some issues with his family life toward the end of the season, so the league sends out prayers to him and his family that everything works out okay for him in the long-run.  Hopefully, he will be in a position to participate in either the Summer 2015 season, and/or if Da Commish goes forward with a Fall 2015 season, he could participate then.   We wish him and his family nothing but the best.

22

23

Green Bay Packers (@ BarNone12000) 6-10-0

Most Recent Results: Lost to the JFF Bears 31-14 (Week Sixteen); Lost to the JFF Cardinals 20-12 (Week Seventeen)

Next Up: Season has ended

Comment: Like Air, Damian, Joh Jon, and Musashi, Tim Dog becomes one of five JFF Owner / Coaches to earn a playoff spot in the Fall 2014 playoffs, but miss out on a playoff berth this season.  Tim Dog said he will be more prepared to participate fully in the off-season activities, and the league always welcomes this good, competitive league member to participate in the league in any future season.

23

22

Houston Texans (@ thawood505) 3-13-0

Most Recent Results: Lost to the JFF N.Y. Jets 35-16 (Week Sixteen); Lost to the JFF Panthers 77-21 (Week Seventeen)

Next Up: Season has ended

Comment: Deuce was not as focused this season because of a lot of things going on in his personal and family life, but he has already made it clear to Da Commish that he is interested in participating in the Summer 2015 season.   The AFC South Division should be more interesting the next go around.

24

24

New York Giants (@ WESLEYSNYPZ) 2-14-0

Most Recent Results: Lost to the JFF Eagles 55-14 (Week Sixteen); Lost to the JFF Redskins 30-27 (Week Seventeen)

Next Up: Season has ended

Comment: Props go to Coach Sweat for making an effort to complete all of his games, despite a losing season.   Have no idea if he will return for the Summer 2015 season, but if he does, he is more than welcomed back.
